DVD-R, a write once disk format. Standard disk capacity is 4.7Gb which can store 120 minutes of video in standard play mode, Longer or shorter storage times are dependant on the recording mode and machine used.
As with all optical media, keep the disk protected when not in use, avoid direct sunlight, do not drop, use the correct markers to write on the disk not a ball point or pencil, avoid dust and moisture store between -5 and 50 degrees Celsius, relative humidity 5-90%
Inkjet printable media has a plain surface to allow you to make the most of the printable area.
The printable area on some disks extends to the central hole of the disk these disks are known as picture disks, print to centre or full face printable.
Usually available with a silver or white top, the media is suitable for high quality audio and data storage
Suitable for use with disk capable printers from all major inkjet manufacturers.
The surface has a special coating to allow the ink to dry, normal disks are not coated making them unsuitable for use with inkjet disk printers.
